Terms of Service & Risk Disclosure
Risk disclosure, in plain words. Options are leveraged instruments. You can lose your entire premium, quickly, and losses can exceed your expectations in fast markets. Our published track record — which always includes losing trades — describes the past and guarantees nothing about the future. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
1. What the Services are
Strikeline publishes systematic, non-personalized research: signals generated by rules-based screening, delivered identically to every subscriber, with a public trade-by-trade ledger. TradeTape licenses trading software that you run on your own infrastructure, connected to your own brokerage account.
2. What the Services are not
- Not investment advice: nothing is tailored to your situation, objectives, or risk tolerance.
- Not asset management: we never hold, access, or control your funds or brokerage account. TradeTape executes only the configuration you yourself authorize on your own instance.
- Not a broker-dealer: order execution happens at your own brokerage under your own agreement with them.
3. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, your broker relationship, the configuration of any software you run, and compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. The Services are not available to residents of mainland China, and you may not use them where they would be unlawful.
4. Subscriptions & refunds
Website purchases are currently closed and published prices are planned launch prices. Joining the launch list is free. When subscriptions open, paid tiers renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of first payment by contacting support. Use the subscription settings page to cancel renewal. Refunded or disputed subscriptions may have access suspended.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is"; we are not liable for trading losses, service interruptions, data errors, or broker-side failures. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
